He is rapidly becoming the Adrian McAdam of Richmond.
Looks lost in a congested forward line
Not moving toward the midfielders with purpose or intent
Getting sucked into the stay at home wrestling one on one contest, not his bag
Is he injured?
Are there personal issues?
Is he not good enough?

Whats the go? :huh
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Lets just wait till we've played every team in the comp.

Easy for fat pig Crabs Crameri to look good when he's played the bottom half of the ladder already.
Go Tigers!

Yr     G     B    Conversion
10    78   39    66%

11    62   26    70%

12    17   18    48%

Missing goals he's kicked previously. Got to get back to what worked.

He has tried to avoid this for the last couple of weeks and on a number of occasions has pulled out late and tried to rove from front and centre. Problem is that he is leaving a smaller player to do the marking and they can't even get enough hand on it to get it to the front of the pack. And I agree that the congestion is getting to him, he needs to remain patient and he will get his chances. He's getting there.

What is wrong with Jack?

Nothing.

Not enough consistent delivery into the forward line to his advantage?

Just the same situation as when Richo and Disco didn't get proper delivery.

Put someone in a proper position to hit him up and Jack will be our hero, AGAIN.......or should I say AS ALWAYS.....since Richo retired.

That player has been killing them at Coburg. He wears the number 66 down there.

Clickitty Click. 66. Just what Jack has been screaming for.

He is the guy that meets Dimma's expectation of consistent deliver into the forward 50.

Nice try though Gerks.

Greg struggles with getting the pill at AFL level though. I still hope he comes good.

Sure there will be anomalies in the stats but you only have to use your eyes to know he's not kicking as well this season as he has in the past. He's been a dead eye dick til this year but he's clearly off both from set shots and in open play.
His inaccuracy has lead his coach to comment on it several times. Rightly so.

Very good point actually, I couldn't believe how congested our forward line was against the Bombers. They absolutely flooded the he'll out of it and our players went with them, we really had to fight for our goals in the forward line when the ball went to ground. Also, they blanketed Jack, had a pack on him when the ball came in. He found it hard to lead because they was no space to lead into, we couldn't get the ball in quick enough before they got back.

Frankly, I would like to see Jack build a bigger ticker and play a Richo role, run the wings and go forward. Bit like Buddy does now.
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Spot on coach.

BUT

When Greg busts his gut to get into space in the right position, why don't his teamates spot him up instead of kicking it to a contest?

That is why his pace is important.

I don't understand why the Coach is dropping the player that makes position instead of the player who makes a wrong decision and misses the player in the right position......and in space.....so often.

If Greg's teamates kicked the ball to him, his stats would be sensational.

This will never happen. For obvious reasons, Jack is not Richo (or Buddy for that matter).

Ekto, that idea of poor delivery into the forward line was there in the past 2 seasons and yet this year he is struggling to have impact.
The poor kicking for goal was another thing, that and his lack of mobility led me to question whether he was fully fit, how is his groin?
