How about he lead more and make himself more unpredictable.
Always trying to take a speccy or wrestle with the defender.
Remember 2010 kicked 78 goals effectively from Round 8 against Hawthorn.
Statistically we are a better side and Jack though a two time Coleman winner should be a bona fide 80 plus goal kicker per season.
Case in point last yr against Nort was scragging with Scott Thompson all first half and once he started leading 3 goals in the third quarter and we get back in the game.
I'm waiting for him to replicate this 2010 footy and whilst the team first role he appears at times to be playing is sacrificial and team first maybe the team first needs to be a little selfish as well, after all which full forward isn't selfish in some way.
Might just help the team also.

That's what Im waiting for too tb, but i'll concede its probably got to do with our overall fwd line structure which is just poo.. In 2010 when the fwd line was open and jack was leading he was a close second to buddy as the most exciting player in the comp - was unstoppable.  thing is he kicks goals easier than anybody so could smash them all in the coleman if he actually played anywhere near his optimum and we played to his strengths

Footy has changed since 2010, defences are more congested than ever. Key forwards rarely get a hold of an opposition these days. Is no surprise that the leading forward only kicks 70 a year, stuffen hard work being a ff in 2013 , simply no room to work within. For reference  research how buddy has gone since 2010 :shh

2010 was a different story. It was the Jack show, nobody to be his foil. Kicked 78 goals sure but Richmond had a poo year. We've improved every year since and Riewoldt kicks less goals. This is Hardwick's plan of course. Jack doesn't attack the ball like he did in 2010 probably because he is more closely minded, manhandled, spares sitting in his space or double/triple teaming him, and to be honest it's very clear he's been figured out by now - still a star player but better understood by his opponents now.

Jack isn't the problem. Hardwick will probably want him to kick 60-70 a year and the extra goals needs to come from Vickery hopefully putting on at least 5kg an kicking straight, and another solid forward.

A Edwards does a good job leading up etc but I don't think he'll be the long-term answer. King looks like he's playing injured as usual. Nahas is finished. McGuane was only ever a cameo/sidekick. Maybe just chuck Lids or Ellis in the F50 as they are both very good overhead marks and can finish cleanly. Vlastuin and Martin should spend more time there too. Martin is strong in the hips and takes good chest marks and Vlastuin is exceptionally confident with his goal kicking IMO and for good reason.

Any chance the club could build up JR's tank so he could play on the wing ala Richo?

He hasn't got the tank. He is plenty talented. Hence two Coleman's before 25th bday.

Jack suffers from playing along side low talent people

Mcgaune Aaron Edwards king nahas white Jackson

Etc

If jack was at Geelong or Sydney he'd be a monster

Richo was a far superior athlete. Saw him on Monday night too, still fit not carrying any extra fat.

Jack isn't quick enough but IMO is much better by foot. Notice he has a very decent left boot anybody?

Different kettle of fish anyway. Richo taller and heavier, yet surprising so much more run in him.

Pre being drafted many people thought jack was too fat/slow. Would go mid 40s or late draft.

Mitch Thorp, Gumbleton, Hansen were sposed to be new Wayne Careys.

Jack is never going to be a running wingman.

Reckon Jack would love getting it speared at him by A. Edwards. His a great kick of the footy, best we've got

First quarter, look at him just jogging around, no defensive pressure at all, playing for free kicks, bad body language, not leading with any form of conviction...

...and he supposedly wants $750k. Gtfo

This guy... I actually hate this pricks demeanor on the ground, Richo was a sook but kept running himself into the ground, this guy just gives up and plods.
