Not always....does tend to miss some fairly easy shots every game or two ....as does Lynch... :shh

Very small snippet in yesterday's HUN

Saying Jack wants to play on in 2022 and his manager Liam Pickering saying talks for a new deal will begin shortly now the season has started

No disrespect to Jack intended but I would rather wait until mid-year. One game so far and he looks cherry ripe, but falling off the cliff only takes a moment.

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Jack on AFL360 said the game is shifting to favour the leading forward again. The speed of the game and the increased fatigue is leading to unstructured defence. Harder for numbers to get back and block space. The craft of the forwards is back.

ps. Jack added at the end he is 9-1 as captain  ;D.

Kane Lambert post-game on Jack Riewoldt's start to the season:

"We're happy, probably not as happy as him, but he's kicking the ball really well ... he does a mountain of work each year, and probably doesn't get enough credit for that ... I'm so happy for him."

Moving, marking and kicking beautifully. Looks to be back in 2018 Coleman form.

JACK IS BACK

Evergreen Riewoldt continued his rich start to 2021 with three first-half majors to give Clurey headaches and keep the Tigers in the game.

Riewoldt has been just one beneficiary of the big spearhead rebirth, staving off whispers of a career decline to enjoy his best beginning to a campaign since 2013.

He couldn’t quite haul his team across the line on Friday but further big bags and potentially more finals joy await the true great Tiger.

Richmond's Jack Riewoldt has been in good goalkicking form this season:

* Overall Shot Accuracy: 70%
* Shots from 50+ metres: 6/8 (75%)
* He has kicked 18.2 points more than what would be expected by the 'average player' from the same positions on the ground.

A legend of our club  :bow.

17 goals after 5 rounds. So Jack's on track for a 75-80 goal season.

Still gears for Jack to go through

Last season might have been a quiet one by the lofty standards of three-time Coleman Medal winner Jack Riewoldt, but 2021 promises to be another prolific campaign. A five-goal haul on Thursday night added to four-goal outings against Carlton in round one and Hawthorn in round two, as well as an underrated three-goal performance against Port Adelaide last week. Taylor Walker's resurgence in Adelaide might have stolen the headlines so far this year when it comes to goalkicking veterans, but the 32-year-old Riewoldt now has 17 majors in five weeks and is emerging as a genuine contender for yet another Coleman Medal. Could he become just the ninth player in AFL/VFL history to claim the League's goalkicking award for the fourth time? On this form, don't rule it out.

He’s kicking beautifully. His one weak spot seems to be 35-50m out on the left hand side on a 45 degree angle.
