Word from Princess Park that the Tiges were soft. Went missing when the heat was turned up

Well they would know about softness after back to back wooden spoons. LOL @ getting cocky after round 1. Oh that's right they won in round 1 last year too. 1 of just 3 wins for the year.

mate, only telling you what I was told.
And further, the Tiges had built this game right up too.
Can tell you that players on each team are best of mates, fact
So yes, they do talk.

And the Blues didn't  ???. Sheesh no other club at the moment would be on such a high with such momentum and few injuries. They've been talking themselves up for that game for 2 weeks.

Hardly not public info about being friends. Newy and Fev are best mates. Why Fev almost crossed over to Punt Rd. Perhaps that's the problem.

Is it over?

What spin did he give us today?  :shh

For a start tigersalive I'm not picking on you, but merely making a comment here on a false perception that has subtley been creeping in on our supporter base through the antagonistic attitude of a small minority of our pretendered supporters.

This false perception is that Wallace is a spin doctor, now isn't that a lovely nice clean term for the word "rubbish artist" because that's what these antagonists are trying to convince us of. Their trying to convince us that Terry Wallace is a rubbish artist and that we should not trust him or anything he says. In actual fact these people would pretty much love for us to lynch Wallace and to get rid of him. Fantastic isn't it.

The truth of the matter is that Wallace is probably one of the best and most articulate communicators in the coaching ranks of AFL level, because he has this ability does NOT make him a spin doctor. When he came to the club we were all so relieved that we now had a person who could more than adequately communicate to the press and the supporters in relation to the activities of the club. Wallace is light years in front of anybody we have had at the club for a long long time in this capacity and the antagonists know this just as much as we do and they hate it.

Wallace has been very good, he's been more transparent than any other coach i have ever seen. If Wallace is a spin doctor (which he isn't) then I would hate to think of what Sheedy, Malthouse and ad infinitum are. Wallace IS a great communicator and we should be thankfull that is one area of our club that we DONT need to fix.

Hold on a tick, he has been caught out telling lies in the past 2 weeks or have you forgotten ?
Told all supporters Simmo would be right for Round 1. I actually asked Simmo and he said round 4,fact

Next one was the Nathan Brown episode.
Told everyone he was ready to go. Poor bloke couldnt walk down swan street last tuesday. Mike Sheehan made the club look stupid.

Spin Doctoring.  100%

And you know and any damn fool will know that clubs say stuff not to upset supporters, but not to give the opposition any ammo.

Give us a break!  :banghead

Come on guys... we are turning into the Carlton boardroom with all this in-fighting  ::)

We ALL barrack for the same team, yes we have our own opinoins, but I'm really getting quite annoyed with it. It's only round 1, let's all jump back on the band-wagon and support the club we love  :gotigers

I remember when Danny was at press conferences and Miller would have to come in for damage control.
And weren't we just rapt when Terry came and didn't need to have someone monitor his every movement, that we knew he would portray this club in the most professional way, something which really was lacking.  In a way, he has brought back respectability to this club by the way he has conducted himself IMO.

Don't let him lull you into a false sense of security there, Steph.
By saying he thinks we'll win this week translates to "we should win and if we don't there will be hell to pay for Terry".  :lol
Beware the shifty bastard!!
