One of the guys from work is and has been the president on the Bulldogs cheer squad for a number of years. He has never said a good word about wallace, even before we appointed him.

I've never said this before, but here goes.
RFLMAOOOOOOOOO!!

Is this supposed to strengthen your point, Bully?  :lol

That's a classic. Gee, I'm convinced now that it must be right.  ;D ;D I'll just slip into the mocassins now and grow the mullet.
Yep, the Footscray cheer squad - now that's credibility, Bully  :rollin

We agree :clapping :bow :clapping :bow :clapping :bow :clapping :bow :whistle :whistle
Yes and no we agree.
Because that's what I think was happening to the Tiges last week, yet I don't think you were as sympathetic towards them as you seem to be with the Swans.
To lose your whole ruck division and have players like Richo coming back and probably not fit enough to be out there, don't you think some consideration should be given to us as well, before you hastily dismiss a whole season based on one round of football?

But the game plan is terrible.
We need to look at this from an oppostion clubs point of you.
Opposition clubs think we are pooh!
We certainly shafted Adelaide last year with a pretty pooh game plan!
Don't think Terry's quite as stupid as you're making him out to be.

Wont win a final playing that crap

Gee what a marvel is Wallace, all he done was tell the players what to do.

And the game plan for that day came from our forward scout who had analysed the Crows for a month prior  :shh

I'm sure a lot of good info has come from the forward scout - but usually ends up in the opposition camp  ;)

Is it over?

What spin did he give us today?  :shh

For a start tigersalive I'm not picking on you, but merely making a comment here on a false perception that has subtley been creeping in on our supporter base through the antagonistic attitude of a small minority of our pretendered supporters.

This false perception is that Wallace is a spin doctor, now isn't that a lovely nice clean term for the word "rubbish artist" because that's what these antagonists are trying to convince us of. Their trying to convince us that Terry Wallace is a rubbish artist and that we should not trust him or anything he says. In actual fact these people would pretty much love for us to lynch Wallace and to get rid of him. Fantastic isn't it.

The truth of the matter is that Wallace is probably one of the best and most articulate communicators in the coaching ranks of AFL level, because he has this ability does NOT make him a spin doctor. When he came to the club we were all so relieved that we now had a person who could more than adequately communicate to the press and the supporters in relation to the activities of the club. Wallace is light years in front of anybody we have had at the club for a long long time in this capacity and the antagonists know this just as much as we do and they hate it.

Wallace has been very good, he's been more transparent than any other coach i have ever seen. If Wallace is a spin doctor (which he isn't) then I would hate to think of what Sheedy, Malthouse and ad infinitum are. Wallace IS a great communicator and we should be thankfull that is one area of our club that we DONT need to fix.

Most sensible thing said on this thread, with all due respect to everyone
Im frustrated too but sheez lets not sink to the moronic levels of a collingwood or essendon supporter on this forum please.

First and foremost I'm a supporter of the Richmond Football Club, not everyone who's on the field or in the coaches box and will be critical as I feel, especially of a man who was signed up on massive money with a "5 year plan."

I've been a supporter of Terry and his media friendliness as it gives us good exposure since our President is a hermit most of the time and our captain isnt much better.

However its annoyed me lately that as said earlier he kept saying Brownie was right, when as it turned out he clearly wasnt and Simmonds wont be back until round 4 imo but Terry will keep saying next week.  I'm just getting frustrated.

Terry needs to stop the antics, if we arent good enough for the 8, say so.

Show us some kind of game plan they've been working on.

Drag anyone who constantly chips to make an example.

Drop Tambling and bring up a real worker like King and let Tambling know he's not a protected species.

Just some idea for him.  ;)
