She tried to get herself out of it by saying "I never said there was meeting Wayne. I just said the senior players spoke that's all". Went on to say she wouldn't revel who she'd spoken too. I was wondering afterwards who it was she supposedly spoke too. Even wondered if it was Gaspar - personally I doubt it but would love to know who this mystery player or players is/are

* Confirmed he's signed a 2-year deal. Believes he has 4-5 years left and his body still feels fresh. Wants to now play continuous footy. Dwelled on the broken leg and missing lots of footy for a while but time to move on. Browny said he's taken a pay cut. Agrees the Club would be silly to give him a 3-year deal or pay him the same as before. Performance based.

He repeated this today alongside Plough. After having former "star" players hold the club to ransom over new $$$ contracts, it's refreshing to here Browny be honest enough in terms of length and risks of his new contract. Sure he's still on a very good wicket $$$ wise but good on Browny for getting his contract done without any fuss or charades.
