If i was the coach I wouldnt be happy to see one of my younger players walking around with that rubbish he had done to his hair.

WP says Moore is on fire. Meyer quiet though in second half.

Courtesy of WP  :cheers

Polo won the Anzac Day medal again

WP thought Moore was best for Coburg though at CHB

Riewoldt kicked 4-5 goals and was good again

Meyer excellent first half, tagged out of it in 3rd but came back strongly in the last

White very good across hb through the centre

Connors good again across hb. A mongrel lol

Patto got better as the game went along

Graham was no 1 ruck today and wasn't too bad. Still lacks confidence and peripheral vision.

I agree with most of what WP said.

For me, Moore was excellent - in command down back -  plenty of good work from Polo and Howat, also.No evidence at all that Polo was peeved about his demotion - worked his backside off.

Agree with comments about Patto and White (plenty of run and took them on)

Meyer - started like a house on fire - nice finishing, including a great snap goal. The main thing is that he played with some intensity, and harassed opponents when they had the ball.

Riewoldt - very good - has a real presence about him, and a great deal of confidence - this will take him a long way.

I'll write a bit more soon.

Thanks GB. Just so many positive signs coming out of Coburg. Importantly many are backing up their efforts each week and now putting pressure on senior spots. Time to give cubs a run at AFL level and see what they can do.

A bit more:
Casserly didn't play, neither did Coburg's captain (Ronaldson)

Connors - had a good burst early on, showing a lot of flair and bravado - played in a cocky manner, but was a bit hit and miss. He'd do a couple of clever and stylish things, then totally stuff up the next opportunity. Anyway, he played with a great deal more confidence than the previous two times I've seen him. When down back, played a bit like Joel Bowden does. I'm more confident about him now, because his upside is impressive. He appears to have a touch of real class.Has a bit of dash as well.

Angus Graham - struggled, but tried hard.

I have to say that I was really impressed with a lot of the Coburg youngsters. Carnell is feisty and quick; Sylvester is sound and a great spoiler;Robertson was better than I anticipated - sound; Mullins had a few sublime moments;Caruso kicked some nice goals; Sewell got a lot of possessions and worked really hard.

Despite their youth, Coburg have a good structure and will be better than a lot of people expect.A very even effort from the team today.

Best for RFC: Moore, Polo and Howat...in my book.

Good to see Meyer, Riewoldt, Connors, White, Moore, Polo etc pushing for selection.  Along with them you have JON, Hughes and Jackson joining Edwards and King in the seniors this week.  Also if Collins, Casserly and Thursfield can overcome injury they appear to be capable to also push for selection.  All of a sudden you have about 15 young players who, if they can all come along nice and quick, could immediately change the face of our starting 22.  Fingers crossed that all our stars align and 80% of these kids become great players for us in the near future and we can see the back of Johnson, Krakouer, Pettifer, Tuck, PBowden, Tivendale, Gaspar, etc for starters.

Does anyone have half an idea on anything?
