On SEN's VFL hour last night they said Polo ended up with 27 possessions and like you said TigerRocket he was a cut above. They love Jack and the way he plays. The only thing that was annoying was they kept going on about how young a side Box Hill are. Did someone there forget to look at Coburg's list  ???.

I think you'll find Coburg has close the youngest list in the VFL (that is Coburg listed players). I mean their oldest player ahs just turned 24. Their Captain Trav Ronaldson isn't 24 until Sept so it's pretty obvious they are young :thumbsup

But certainly super impressive  :thumbsup ;D

Everyone will be pleased to know the chess board on the back of Polo's head has been removed  ;D

I didn't really mind it WP  :thumbsup

I never saw the hair-do... anyone get a photo of it?

Never mind... saw it on the footy show last night  :o
Deano... what did you do!?  :chuck

Kingsley will be playing for the Coburg ressies today.

Meanwhile, former Cat Kent Kingsley will make his return from an ankle injury for the Coburg reserves today at Box Hill.

"Kent will have a run around and it's been a long while coming," David King said.

Good to see Thursty on the comeback trail. Hopefully he can soon make it into the Coburg seniors and then onto Richmond in time for 2008. Around Polak, McGaune and Thursty we can build up a strong defence that will take us into the future. We still need to draft another KPP who can firm up our backline with Gas in his last year.

It will be good to see if Moore can get a run of games without injury to see if he could slot into the backline.

I like what I'm hearing out of Coburg from Andy Collins and McRae in EOTT :thumbsup.

Team summary

Coburg continues to play a terrific brand of football – attacking, strong running, hard at the ball and hard tackling, with a terrific contribution from all concerned.

Yep it is a great brand of footy to watch :clapping

We've been discussing while watching the Burgers how much the rule about if you kick backwards in your defensive half of the ground being play on has impacted on the type of footy being played.

This type of footy is very common in the VFL and more so this year since they introduced this rule
