We will most likely get Trent Cotchin, deledio-type

but I hope we seriously look as masten, classy inside mid to help Foley

others we should look at IMO are:

McEvoy
Rance
Henderson
Vezpremi
Selwood
Gaetner
Neville
McGinnity

I like Selwood's hardness too, struggling to find a spot for him at AFL though.

Perhaps a Daniel Cross/Daniel Harris type slowish but hard at it mid

A rough phantom draft to give a very rough idea of names available. The various State competitions' finals, draft camp results, club needs, etc will move the kids up or down in the eyes of the recruiters before draft day. Trade week will alter which club has exactly what pick as well.

I've got us picking kids up to the 4th round (picks 2, 18, 19, 35, 51) and then a Coburg player like Silvester or Neville at 65. Giving us 5 new kids, a cheap 21/22 year old ready to go plus a PSD pick (ruckman?). A trade as well would make at least a total of 8 changes to the list.

Your Thoughts?

Just a question. Say we wanted Darcy Daniher, so we offer to use pick 19, Essendon have to match that with their 2nd rounder to get him?
And you may not think I care for you

danniher is over-rated for mine, don't bother.

Hasn't really lit up the TAC cup, lacks agility, but has some footy smarts which would get him drafted

ditto  :thumbsup

1st pick cotchin/masten
Priority pick Rance
2nd round Vezpremi
3rd round McGinnity/Farmer/Sullivan (if he falls through)
(note that I don't mind Farmer but it looks like Kingy has taken the spot I had in mind for a farmer type)
4th round Neville

Would be absolutely rapt, except still haven't got a ruckman unless Sullivan slips

If McEvoy falls through to our 2nd round pick

Then Masten at one (need a quality inside mid), Rance and McEvoy with back to back picks, and the rest as above

almost forgot top effort MT  :clapping

Although I don't reckon Henderson will go so high re injuries all year
Selwood would be lucky to go as high as 10 on his own performances, but his surname could rocket him that high
Essendon will take Rioli regardless of where their pick is IMO
Rance will go before Pears so a bit of wishful tinkering with the draft order me thinks 8)
Collier could push 1st round, been superb for Tassie until his injury
Motlop will not drop that far, extremely highly rated
Normington is another, athletic type in demand, will go round 2 IMO
Gaertner will push 1st round IMO, better prospect than Tom Williams 3 years back and he went at 6

Don't know much about him personally, I was just wanting to know how the father/Son bidding system works nowadays.

That's right wayne. The club with the F/S must use their next pick after the bid if they want him. Daniher is also eligible to go F/S to the Swans but the Dons are favourite.

I've heard different views on Rance. Some rate him highly because there's not too many decent KPPs in this draft and have him top 6 while others are iffy about him. I just listed them first so I didn't deliberately put Rance at 18 but I laughed and thought Ramps will be happy when it worked out that way.

I changed a couple of names around to suit a club need but not too many. I heard Hawk fans say they like Pears so that's why I had him going to Hawthorn.

Yep if Otten keeps his current TAC Cup form up he'll go higher but I still have going second round.
