Cotchin out Matt Murname

May 10, 2013 In a surprise revelation on Thursday, it emerged Cotchin has been battling a minor knee injury since suffering a hyperextension in the loss to Fremantle in round five, and the soreness was a factor in his poor kicking game last week.
It is the first time that one of Cotchin, Brett Deledio, Dustin Martin or Jack Riewoldt has missed a game through injury since 2010. Deledio will take over as skipper.
Cotchin was expected to miss just one game and be back for the match against Melbourne on Sunday week.
