He just wasn't in it today and could not get involved, not even when moved forward. But like every other player on the day he was soundly beaten.

Tried hard but was well held by Cornes. One of the few who stood up in the second half of the EF last year - so still remains one of the few who's actually stood up in a final.

The corrupt umpires don't protect Cotchin like they do Selwood, Judd, Watson.

Champion players don't need protection though. They get involved regardless. Either through workrate or physicality etc.

Had a stinker, probably because he chose the wrong direction after the coin toss and felt like a idiot.

But he's a champ for me but probably won't be a bonafide champ with the rest of the comp until he consistently produces in finals footy. Unfortunately its so hard for us just to make it.

Hopefully we recruit and develop some hard arse midfielders that aren't soft as butter and will offer some protection to him as he ain't getting any protection currently from his teamates

As if the AFL won't scrap compo picks before we get a chance to reap the rewards. Malthouse already been nudged to start the campaign...expect Eddie & others to join the chorus soon....

I've been against them all along. But you're probably right in that when it will be our turn they will be scrapped and we will get shafted yet again.
