Trent Cotchin is showing that, despite being in the twilight of his magnificent AFL career, he can still find plenty of ball.
The inspirational 31-year-old, triple Richmond premiership captain racked up 30-plus disposals for the second time in three games, against Greater Western Sydney at Marvel Stadium last Friday night.
In trademark tough, tenacious, courageous style, he constantly threw his body into the fray, extracted the ball, and dished it out to teammates.
Cotchin finished the match with 31 disposals, a game-high 15 contested possessions, eight clearances, four inside-50s, five marks, five intercepts, six score involvements and 383 metres gained.
The last time Cotchin had 30 touches or more in a match, before that 32-disposal display against the Dockers, was in Round 1, 2019 v Carlton at the MCG (31 disposals).
