Wallace, also a leading contender for the vacant Richmond job, is seeking a four-year contract which the alternative Hawk group believes is too lengthy for a first-up deal.

They do not believe Wallace or his former teammates, Rodney Eade and Gary Ayres, are necessarily the best candidates for the job, despite all having senior coaching experience.

The success rookie coach Dean Laidley has had with what's considered just an average list at the Roos has the group contemplating a younger, untried coach coach, including Essendon assistant Mark Harvey and Brisbane Lion assistant Gary O'Donnell.

Thank you Don Scott  :thumbsup

Despite Casey and Schwab's differences at least we are united behind the choice of Wallace.

You've got to hand it to Shwab, he has put the club first before himself by not spilling the board now and waiting he'll score a few points for that.
