The Phillies have won the World Series 4-1.

Yes, their big hitters came good at the right to score runs, the TB Rays hitters on the other hand went quiet.

Bad luck to Aussie tampa bay pitcher Grant Balfour.... on the 2nd aussie to play in a world series  :clapping

My team is there = Yankees

Would love to see a Yankees -v- Dodgers World Series

The AL series playoff between the Yankees & Angels - will be a ripper. Pitching is going to the be the key IMHO.

Looks like being Yankees vs Phillies

Not a big baseball fan but have been watching some of it on ONE and Ryan Howard of the Phillies is hitting homer after homer making everyone else look like a mere mortal  :o

Come on Philliles then. Can't stand Yankees. Don't really have a team but follow the Cincinnati Reds a bit. Phillies vying to be first NL team to go back to back since the Big Red Machine in the 70s.

Yankees have never looked back since George Costanza arrived and departed from the organisation. :lol :rollin :lol

I don't really have a team either but judging but gambling on American sports has been lucrative for me in the past and I feel the Yankees will win the World Series.

Phillies through to the World Series but the Angels have pushed the ALCS to game 6 and trail the Yankees 2-3.

Gee I hope you are right Tucker

I was very disappointed yesterday, to get on top 6-4 after being down 0-4 after the first and then to blow the lead was awful

Looking forward to Sunday... can watch it live  :clapping

Phillies are 1-0 in the series

After beating the Yankees 6-1 in game 1 at New Yankee Stadium

Don't think I'll bother with the replay tonight - terrible result
