Seeing I've given the Yankees the flick, not because they missed the post season but becasue they played that stinking low-life drug cheat A-Rod for the 2nd half of the year  :banghead :banghead Dont care what the rules say they fact they played him was morally bankrupt

I am now officially a Pittsburgh Priates fan (although they've always been my NL team)

Have always liked the Detroit Tigers for obvious reasons but I have a soft spot for the A's as I love a good "Balfour Rage!!!".

Grant Balfour IMO is one of the best closing pitchers in the game!

Yeah gerks, I'm hoping Maxy will tear the A's a new one on Friday.  :thumbsup :gotigers I love his fastball offspeed combo's making batters go WTF?

I'm also hoping Cabrera can pop a couple into the neighbours backyard.

I guess Colon will be starting for the A's. Will be interesting to see how he goes. The guy amazes me as to how good he is at 40 years of age. Miggy will test him though.

Considering he was playing injured in near meaningless games in the second last series of the season when they couldn't miss post season, I'd be surprised if he didn't play now the real stuff is here

Cards belting the Pirates 8-1, only through 5  :o
