Here's what our guernsey with the Dick Smith's logo will look like next year:

They should have just wrote "DICK SMITH electronics" on the sash instead of place a different yellow background over it!

it looks pretty crappy and poorly thought out but i guess ill get used to it.

I agree it looks cheap and tacky and hasnt been thought through. Should have just had it embroided into the sash. Much cleaner and professional marketing look.

The problem is our sash isn't the same bright yellow as DSE's is. The sash has been made a deeper yellow/gold so the white numbers are more readable on the back. We would have to go back to the Nike fluro yellow for the yellows to match.

Also looking closely at the logo it looks like it's just been stuck over the Motorola logo on a 2007 jumper. There's curved bits at the top and bottom of the square logo to cover over the round Motorola logo . The RFC going to great expense  . The 2008 jumpers probably aren't available yet till the official jumper presentation.

Carlton are going to get $5m over 2 years from Hyundai as a major sponsor. Are any of the deals with our major sponsors up in that range?

The've just screen printed over the Motorola logo.

The new ones wouldn't be available until later. You wouldn't get new ones made when you are finalising a new sponsor.
