The latest Dick Smith brochure (on sale April 2) has Richmond through out it. Rainesy, Foley, Lids and Sugar in geeky poses plus a note from Plough saying DSE provides and meets all our IT and technology needs.

raines makes me laugh. he has one good season and we label him as our next superstar, putting him on front covers, brochures, this that.

he shouldn't even be put in the same league as lids and foley.

lol. Who cares. Football clubs need money. This makes the club money. Same with the Matrix stuff. It's business pure and simple. Hopefully the guys had fun doing it.

Nothing to do with his footy ability and everything to do with his looks.  I mean Jay Schultz is hardly going to sell anything.

he is a lost soul at the moment and all he should be worried about is running in straight lines and not into opposition players.
at the moment and continuing on from last year he hasnt got a clue about how to play direct smart football.

Great news to hold onto both major sponsors in the current downturn. Well done RFC  :clapping.

Despite our rubbish year our sponsors couldn't argue about a lack of publicity lol. Cuz arriving and being on the tv and on the front and back pages of the papers made the sponsorship a bargain for Dick Smith.

Confirmed....

Dick Smith continues as Tiger co-major partner

3:09 PM Wed 16 September, 2009

The Richmond Football Club is delighted to announce that Dick Smith has re-signed as a co-major partner for 2010.

The renewal will see the Tigers/Dick Smith partnership enter a third successive year.

“Dick Smith’s revitalised brand is a terrific fit with Richmond, and we are pleased they have extended their partnership of the club to include supporting our Northern Territory community initiatives,” said Richmond President Gary March.

“These educational programs are designed to empower schools and local communities to improve retention rates and combat truancy, and Dick Smith will play a vital role in supporting our efforts and we look forward to the continued growth of our partnership in 2010,” March said.

“We are very happy to be with Richmond for a third consecutive year, it’s been fantastic exposure for our new brand and we have enjoyed working with Richmond in supporting their community education programs in the Northern Territory,” said Dick Smith General Manager Debra Singh.

“We will be working with RFC over the next year to assist and support the continued good work they are doing with Indigenous schools and communities in the Northern Territory, whilst also supporting the football team in their endeavours for future success,” Ms Singh said.

“The AFL has a wonderful following across Australia and we have thoroughly enjoyed being a major partner of the Richmond Football Club,” she said.
