Might be a bit quiet around here this season without the great Gerkin, but the season is about to kick off.

So hard to make an early call outside the obvious ones, so many changes at so many teams. NFC west will probably be a poo fight again with the 49ers and Seahawks.

Really bullish about the Lions this season. New coach and staff so hopefully there are no teething issues but will be good to be rid of the long passing game as we got found out late in the season with no plan B. Stafford with Bush, Tate, Megatron, Bell and now Ebron has to be the most devastating offense in NFC north. Bell has really come on as a RB which frees up Bush to play receiver more and increase the longevity of his crook knees. On the D really need Jones back on the line because between him, Suh and Ansah the Lions will be eating QBs for breakfast. Hopefully Slay and Levy continue their improvment from last year and build in our weak secondary.

Surely the AFL lists would have a huge advantage? Sydney to win it I'd say.
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Niners will find the going really tough early without their best three defenders

As is the norm for me I have real expectations for Bengals.

When the good Bengals show up they're brilliant, when they off they are shocking.

And I'm still not sold on Andy Dalton. So terribly inconsistent

Was happy when I heard that today. Can't stand the fudge packers and it helps the Lions when other NFC north teams lose ;D

Played well. Megatron was beastly.

Panthers got off to a reasonable start. Not sure how we were underdogs to the fricken Buccaneers tbh.  :lol

I was watching a movie with the missus tonight and Nstompakong was in it.  :clapping

Now that we have Bell releasing Bush to play receiver and Tate taking the heat off Megatron you just can't double team him like in the past. Giants found out quickly by giving CJ a paddock and he made them pay  8)

Really potent offense now. If Caldwell can mould Stafford into another Peyton then look out ;D
