:lol good old Bengals like their AFL brothers.

We tend to be slow starters and quick finishers and then choke in the playoffs so not sure what to make of this quick start. I think we have the Saints this week who just lost to Tampa.

Detroit is hockey town and that is all. Even the Pistons have been garbage and we lost Monroe at the end of last season so no way we will ever do anything as long as the Bulls and Cavs are strong. As for the Lions, time to pee Lombardi off. Our offense has been rotten with him there, probably only got the job because of his name. I though Caldwell did great things in his first season last season but he has stunk this year. Stafford will be stretchered off the ground before too long with the lack of protection the OL are giving him. I don't care that Suh is missing from the defense. If the offense wasn't so crap and consistently going 3 and out then the defense wouldn't be on the field so long. We have Johnson, a genuine generational player and not only did we waste his prime we are still wasting him now. We don't throw to him, instead we keep trying to run it when all we gain is inches. Absolute joke of a franchise right now. They were all drinking the koolaid after last season.

It's powdered cordial. Sort of seen as a poor drink that is consumed mainly in the ghettos but it's often used at someone in a sort of derogatory manner. If someone says something stupid like "let's trade our first pick for Yarran" then you could say "get off the koolaid."

The saying "drinking the kool-aid" originates from the Jonestown massacre in Guyana in the late 70's where American cult leader Reverend Jim Jones killed himself & 900 of his followers by making them all drink kool-aid laced with poison....it's meant to infer that one's opinions are so stupid they must be brainwashed...
