is that because we were so successful?
Well, that's just the point, we're rebuilding and he knows it.
To go on the transformation we have been over the last couple of years - a youth policy - we were bound for a few lean years.
He knows it, you know it, everyone knows it, but some are conveniently, for their own agenda, ignoring that.
If Terry has a terrible year as he did last year, he will probably have to be shown the door.
But if he has success, some improvement in the players he's drafted, then you'd have to say what he's doing is working. If not, he gets shown the door.
Either way, he should be congratulated on the brave path he took, not condemned IMO
he was given a 5 year contract, hardly call it "brave"
We'll call it career destroying then becasue he made some very hard decisions no-one else was prepared to do probably knowing he wouldn't have a job in 5 years with the mentality of the supporters we have.
Where's my list of players he's delisted lol
You cannot striip a team of 35 players in 3-4 years from your list and replace then with youth and not expect you to have a down period.
Frawley before him just topped up with one dud after another rejected from other clubs.
I'll still call him brave because not one of those players he got rid of I want back (do you) and there's still heaps more to get rid of, leaving you with a pretty inexpereinced team.
Hence why I think he was brave to go on a total rebuiding of the club.
Even if it hasn't worked out exactly wonderful for us, that was exactly what he had to do IMO and I applaud him for having the guts;.
That's why I think he was brave - nothing more, nothing less.
you call it what you will and I'll call it how I want lol
