Squad for Sydney game / Who should play this week?
« Reply #15 on: February 25, 2008, 04:07:27 AM »
The Daily Telegraph says the Swans will be near full strength this week in bringing back Leo Barry and Kennelly. Only Ted Richards is missing.

Who should play this week for us?

We know Richo is coming back in but do we go with more senior bodies or do we go with youth like we did this time last year against Sydney?

The first post comes from ABC Riverina radio but it doesn't look like they are broadcasting the game and it doesn't look like they have a web broadcast link even if they were.

I would rest a few of the older players as you'll want them playing in the final practice match prior to round 1. So this may be the last chance to give them a break until midseason.

Actually bene boy, you are dead set spot on.
We have been so pox for so long, f the risk of injuries whatever we should go into every battle at the fullest of strength possible and eveyone to play as if it was there last game or day on earth.
Sick of soft c's that wont play for the Richmond jumper, time to figure who they are for sure and f them of.
soft week gutless pricks - I am sick of it.

Will name names come round 11 -

I had a crack at it on BF.

B Jake King Will Thursfield Kelvin Moore

HB Jordan McMahon Joel Bowden Chris Newman

C Richard Tambling Dean Polo Mitch Morton

HF Matthew Richardson Cleve Hughes Kayne Pettifer

FF Jack Riewoldt Brett Deledio Nathan Brown

R Troy Simmonds, Shane Tuck, Nathan Foley

I/C/emer: , Kane Johnson, Greg Tivendale, Adam Pattison, Andrew Raines, Graham Polak, Daniel Jackson
Cameron Howat, , Jarrod Silvester, Matthew White, Jay Schulz

That's how we roll in my humble opinion.

In the real stuff Polak would be ahead of Cleve for selection and Richo would be in a KP position but I want to see Cleve do something and let Richo gallop round the paddock like a stallion to leave some space in the forward line and to be honest I just want Polo in the thick of it so we can see if he still has it.   :-\

Fairly close to full strength excluding Cogs, Edwards, Connors. No Hyde or JON either. Looks like Rainesy, Polak and Jacko have come in.

Mine would be very close to yours tigersalive. It will be interesting who we start on Hall. Thursty is slight for the big gorilla. We may experiment with Schulz or Silvester on him or even Kel.
