If Knights is doing such a nice job, it doesn't really say much for Sheedy.

Knights is a footy smarts person & has a different approach which works for his gameplan
that dont mean Sheedy was a bad coach

Correct Monk, Matty wants to instill ""taken them on at all costs "" mentality.
Wallace is a high possesion game and keep possesion and try and release. Recipe for DISASTER if you have poor skills (Take note PLOUGH !)

u got me there, at least im man enough to admit that, but we still havent shown any improvement
Nothing should be taken out of these games - means eff all that we won the last two games and means eff all that we lost against the Aints!  Just practising.

Wrong, alot should be taken out of the games although isnt not the scoreboard thats important , but the style and game plan that was implemented.
The way the Tigers played against the saints was no different than last year, there lies the problem.

yes we overreact when we lose, maybe because we lose 75% more than we win
the score v the saints was not the issue, nor the result its teh way we played
we won tonight , but it sounds like our skills were still below standard, thats still a worry

l'm more concerned about the poor skills
one other thing l'm really stumped why we cant release the ball from the backline quick after a point is scored
we are the slowest team to move the ball forward comming out of the 10 yard box

So when the Blues win the preseason cup and then  win the wooden spoon, we're supposed to take notice of great preseason form hey?

Don't think so.

Waste of time even replying to that.
Its not about winning or losing its about how you play.
Watch tonite game as you will know what I mean.

When was the last time the swans won a pre season game or took pre season seriously. ::)
Last week. Thumped Port by 69 points at Footy Park ;).

As for Walls' coaching - he took our up and coming finals side to bottom 4 in a year and a half and only 2 of his 20 draftees went on to play more than 25 games.

For what its worth, Robert Walls tactically was a good coach. The players couldnt do what was asked of them. EG Rotating hot spots etc etc.  Even the geniuses on here couldnt work that out ;)

And yet lead the league in 'coast to coast' goals - go figure.  ???

Most of us don't overreact - mainly you.
