Mike's top 50 list in full

42. Dale Thomas (Collingwood)

Please explain this guy in front of Foley.  ::)

Because from what I've read lately on this forum no less Thomas is an absolute gun  :rollin :rollin Personally I think he is along way off but I digrese

I would like to sincerely thank Mike for his top 50 list - he has restored my faith in the belief that I've held for a number of years and that is he is a twit   :rollin ;D

seriously WP as much as l like the talent of Thomas, Pendlebury, Deledio, Franklin, they dont deserve to be rated in a top 50 list as there are far more proven footballers who are playing the game that the young lads themselves would tell you they look up to
as we all know MS is a total twit

Deledio got in the top 50 & he done nothing yet hows that work
what about Bowden his better than Deledio

Back Pockets shouldnt be in the top 50 especially those that have played for the 16th placed club.

you tellin me Deledio is a better player than Bowden seriously
just cause your in the wooden spoon team dont mean you cant make top 50 players
our main problem is the forward line they dont convert & they dont defend the forawrd line its not always the backline fault
our backline has been undermanned since the late 80s.  Bowden should be payed a million dollars extra for the job his done on players bigger than him. His put his body on the line time after time thats why he wins JD medals
Its time for him to get relief & go into the forward line where we lack kicking large scores & get that percentage up every year
anyway Bowden deserves to be in that Top 50,  l dont care what anyone says he one of the leagues good players
Take him out of the team we really turn to poo
Deledio's time will come in a few years when he stamps himself on the league but IMO his done nothing to warrant being in the 50 & thats goes for Thomas, Pendlebury, Franklin & a few others your not a champion at 60 odd games you need to stand out like John Coleman

That should have happened years ago but Joel seems to have been banished from the forward line since a couple of brain implosions in 2001 against Adelaide and Hawthorn cost us games.

Richo can't play in the backline  ;).

I know it makes no sense but Joel has not played in our forward line since that Hawthorn game 7 years ago (not that I'm counting lol).

MT l can remember one night game against Collingwood where Richo started after haltime in the backline & he dominated, in the last 1/4 he even run forward & kicked a rubbish goal from outside 50 on a tight angle on the run. His confidence was so high.
but he missed so many easy goals in the first half the skunks squad really nailed him
can't remember the year but it was in the last 6-7 years.  l will try find the video of that game but he was at CHB

I remember a game at the Dome a couple of years ago where he was sent to the backline during time-on as a loose man to help prevent the opposition from scoring and then gave us all heart failure everytime he went near the ball lol.
