I'm happy with that, if nothing else our kicking for goal has improved, Richo seems to be loving his new role....thanks for the reports MT it is much appreciated  :gotigers

A reasonable effort - best part was Richmond coming back over and over even though outclassed. Worst part was listening to those Fox commentators - sickening.

I only rarely go to away games. Sunday twilight is also a crap time.

SEN were just as bad. Almost wetting themselves everytime the ball went near Franklin. Brereton was going on straight afterwards that Hawthorn aren't near Geelong because we pushed them and he doesn't rate us at all. Only Thomas gave us a side compliment by saying next week is the first time in years he is concerned about St Kilda playing us.

Mcguane, but the delivery was exceptional and some crucial stupid turnovers at the end made it 5 goals instead of 3.  Every ball that McGuane could have got to, he did except 1 where Roughy just out positioned him which is going to happen.

He wasnt that bad.

It was a solid performance but the hawks are better than us at this stage, we are 2 inside/outside mids, 1 kpp and a 200cm+ ruckman short of being able to go to the next level.

Healy on us and how we handled Hawthorn's cluster zone

Last week, Terry Wallace started the game by trying to handball through the cluster up the corridor.

It was a disaster and the Tigers only found themselves in the match through persistence and moving the ball quickly around the cluster's perimeter before it had a chance to realign itself.

The worrying signs for the general is that over the past two weeks there have been a couple of deep cracks opening up behind the cluster; the Hawks have conceded a competition-high 40 per cent of forward 50 entries turning into goals, which makes it paramount that it holds firm.

Against Brisbane in Round 5, the Lions scored 17.16 from 48 entries, and last week the Tigers kicked 15 goals from 33 entries.

This suggests they formed a weak spot in high-scoring areas in front of goals, despite getting it there on very few occasions.
