I know the Bombers made the finals but I'm still surprised they extended Knighters' contract by 2 whole years so he's got another 3 years to go. No Lloyd, Lovett and Lucas (although he was finished) and they scrapped into the top 8 with just 10 wins and were flogged by almost 100 points in the elimination final. No doubt they improved quite a bit but are they getting ahead of themselves just a touch. I could see them missing the finals next year if Neagle and Gumbleton don't stand up for most of the season.

I totally agree, getting way ahead of themselves. They are linked to every player likely to be traded, as if they are topping up their list for a premiership tilt? You have got to be kidding me!!! Pin thier hopes on Jobey Watson, puhlease the kid is an over rated goofball DT point getter. Matty Knights is going down a very Richmond like path of a team overplaying one year and then topping up the list with over the hill also rans to have a "tilt" lmao be lucky to make finals next year.

Tall Poppy creaping in for you boys.

The Bombers are on the right track and they made finals with several of the older players having little or no influence.

How do some of these names sound to you

Pears
Neagle
Hurley
Hill
Ryder
Watson
Winderlich
Prismall
Stanton
Mcveigh

There are probably more i left out that would get a game at Punt Road before most of our list.

Pretty good from where im standing.

Knighter has worked this list beautifully with some help from Sheeds

Matty Knights in talks with Crows
« Reply #125 on: October 15, 2010, 03:57:12 AM »
SACKED Essendon coach Matthew Knights has met the Crows as Adelaide seeks a new midfield coach and the former Richmond captain searches for a way to stay in the AFL.

Matthew Knights has been quietly working with Adelaide for no financial reward since the 2011 pre-season helping Neil Craig with opposition analysis. His role, according to the Crows, has been to analyse key performances and individuals from teams the Crows are about to play.

Knighter will have a wry smile now :yep

The man who replaced him at the Bombers is not the messiah; he's just a very naughty boy  ;D.
