I dont think Jake King is a long term answer for us, thats why I find it hard to believe that 2 or 3 clubs would be interested in him.

On the other hand, I know that Carlton and Essendon continue to be interested in Chris Newman.

I find it amazing that for so long one of the main things we've lacked from the side is a bit of mongrel, now we've got some in King and people want to get rid of him.
I think he's great and hope we hang on to him, we have plenty of medium sized defenders and none to take the smalls, we need a bloke like King, he is super quick, takes the game on, tough as nails, definitely a long term spot for him if he wants it. He may not have Luke Hodge like disposal, but it's not terrible, he makes the odd mistake but he's young and new to the elite level so he can still learn.

Im with you infamy, we finally get a little bit of mongrel and people want him out, I'd much rather Jake King who tries hard and makes mistakes than Captain Kane who should be well past making mistakes. I see absolutely nothing wrong with an angry Rodan
