It didn't sound as good as what I thought though.
Thought he was coming along in leaps and bounds.
Seems it will be a slow process.

Will be extremely slow Moi and that's to be expected

Having had a member of our family suffer a nasty head injury a number of years ago (not a serious as Polly's but certainly nasty) I am not surprised by apparent "ups & downs". Some days are going to better than others...

So from where it sits at the moment it all sounds positive to me....

I know a bloke who fell 20 feet and smashed his face on a bbq, he was in a coma for two weeks and played footy that season.( The accident happenned in the summer). I'm not suggesting that Polly will play this season but the hope is there that he may play play again, not that it really matters as he survived and hopefully retains all his facultys

Did he squash the snags?

Probably broke his fall and saved him from some serious damage.

Number 96 started 13 March 1972.

Gough Whitlam brought Labor to power on 2 December 1972

A good year, I was 16 when number 96 started and 17 when Gough made Tertiary education free.

If it wasn't for Gough I would still be working stacking bricks off the end of the line.

That 1965, what does it stand for then?

A long story first told on PRE.

and I quote...

"I have been following Richmond since 1965 when as a very small lad I was taken to the MCG to see the Tigers play. We sat up in the Southern stand and I converted on the spot. Football previous to that was standing in the outer at the old Arden street ground supporting North Melbourne. It took dad a long time to forgive me, he used to play for North, but not having to put up with the drunks and the fights and the rain and being able to actually see the football was too attractive."

and that is the polite version of the story.

Well, I should be called 1965 too, because my first game was in 1965 at Princess (yes, I know Princes - but prefer Princess lol) Park.

I briefly barracked for the Blues that day until I was told I supported the Tiges  :rollin

Was a good time to start supporting the club  :thumbsup

We've gone a bit off topic but I had to ask why you were called that.
