because too many tiger fans are not real fans, they dont support , just watch the game on tv, and pretend to be fans because they ring talk back radio and spend their lives around various forums.

its a bloody disgrace and we are meant to be part of the big 4 , what a joke

Your right.
Cant blame the AFL for wanting NOT to give us main fixtures.

Simply people can't afford to go to many away games after money spent on membership, transport food and possibly reserved seats?

As a single person footy is pretty cheap to me but for a family an away game must be fairly expensive..

Maybe because for some of us, the working week isn't Mon -Fr, 9-5...
My parents bought me a Richmond jumper and enrolled me in a junior footy clinic in 1981...look at me now.

Haven't been to a game since 2006.  Not my fault the stupid AFL don't let us play the Lions at the Gabba.

i know im not having a dig at interstate supporters julz, and im sure jackstar isnt either.

families can choose where they can and cant spend money, but one does not have to buy food at the venue, do as most sensible families do and bring your own food

but i am sure lots of could budget more budget better and be able to attend these very important away games

jackstar is right, im not suggetsting your are in this category, but its funny how many people who cannot afford simple things , always find money for smokes, alcohol, pokies, tattslotto, meaningless rubbish, take away food , the list goes on
for example, a cousin of mine and his wife always whinge they cant afford this or that , but they both smoke a packet a smokes a day each. thats nearly a mortguage, its actually like a mortguage

I only go to home games, simply because I have other things in my life as well. I have a husband who doesnt go to the footy and a son who plays footy so I have chosen to divide my weekend between my family and my footy and I have chosen to spend my hard earned on both the club and, well whatever else I want, be it smokes drinks or Oxfam , I hope thats ok by all you diehard fans. And being the "diehard" fan that I am, I dont give a fat rats what day or night we play on, if its a home game I'll go :gotigers

Were you there Jack ?

From where I was you couldn't see the top deck and you don't usually see it on telly either.
I would say being an away game most of the tigers would have been out of sight in the bleechers.

I thought 42 was reasonable, fact is a lot of tigers resent going to the Dome, especially away games
I would of said 60/40 giving us around the 16,000 mark .....

Aisle 5, with my friend""Tigers for Life"" ( where the players race is)
Can tell you last week, I sat in Aisle 46 and all you could see was a sea of yellow.
Last night, all you could see was a sea of blue.
Most disappointing!
