I can only guess that he's not happy with the Richmond offer.

Or his manager isn't happy with it. Who is his manager Ricky Nixon? ::)

Quote
He went from wanting to stay a few weeks before the season end to saying his future was "iffy" at the B&F.

I have to say I am confused. They have offered him a new contract - if the Club wanted to get rid of him why offer him a new contract. He has said he wont hold the club to ransom - as I said confusing

Quote
He would be a huge loss imho, but I know not everyone agrees - he's only 24 !!

I agree Ron - and he will have a quality coach. Him being only 24 is the key IMO - 24-29 seems to be the quality years for ruckman.

I believe his manager has been with him since he was 16 - I can't remember his name but I think he's only got Brad. It's not Ricky Nixon - unless he has changed recently.

Ottens is just about to hit his prime.  After all these years of waiting for him to develop it would seem like such a waste to trade him.  Depends what we would get in return, would want ot be worthwhile for our future.  Chris Tarrant would not cut htemustard as I dont rate him aynway far too inconsistent.

Although Otto is responsible himself to perfrom we have hindered his development by not having a ruck coach this year and Loewe before that, having dimwits in the coaching box and not drafting/recruiting enough talls on our list to share the workload. Sad to see him move on (if he does) and blossom at another club just when we now have Wallace and just as, Shawry said, he's turned 24. IMO Otto should be played at CHF with occasional stints in the ruck.

Did we have one this year? HAHAHAHAHA Seriously the way Otto was tapping it, I would wonder if we had anyone there.....

I tend to agree with mightytiges......Otto aint no ruckman, hes actually one of the worst tap-ruckmen in the AFL.

Im with you OM21, and he's lazy too!

Never seems to pull his weight behind play, he was caughtout so many times, classic example was against the kangaroos, Corey made him look stupid!

Apparently the Eagles have said they are interested in Otto or Nathan Thompson and are offering Braun, Morrison, Wooden and Wirrpunda in an attempt to snare one of them.

Ah.....Pass!

(Jack - that's you're right - lol)

KB said on SEN that the Bullies are so annoyed with TW poaching their people that a group of influential supporters are considering financing an offer for Ottens.

At least we now know why he has gone from a stayer to doubtfull - as suspected, the club has offered him less. I'm not sure that's warranted - imho they could justify maintaining his salary and a wage cut is a reflection of a previous bad decision.
