Yes welcome to another 10 years of not palying finals.

trades like this are the reason we dont play finals.

you blind idiots cant see it and that is really sad.

The hawks are where they are because they mostly traded out players not traded in duds

we are stuffed.

those 3 are premiership players my friend

Dude its a 3rd round pick for a 22 year old.

Chill the eff out.

Hawks have traded for many hacks - Gilham, Guerra, Dew etc.

those 3 are premiership players my friend.

Daniel, would u like to name your personal candidate for the pick 43
position, seeing as you are so protective of it.
When u do,tell us why we would be better off with that particular player,
otherwise,it seems u are merely whining.

He's a bit of a Patto look-a-like

Are you talking about the premiership cup handles on either side of his head?

Not sure what to think of this one. Never really seen the bloke play and our record of recruitng players with AFL experience is only matched by Port's recent record of giving good players away for bugger all.

The RFC site is quick with the photoshop job.

It's disappointing we'll have only 2 picks inside the top 50 of a strong draft if we don't do another trade and I don't see how this trade helps address a deficiency of ours. We need more classy ballwinners as well as a big key forward and a ruckman.

it certainly does address a deficiency MT , our midfield is made up of GF sprinters , by comparrison Hawthorn and Geelong are like King Kong...we need to add some bulk around the contest...this kid has a solid frame and if he stands up will shoulder alot of heavy work that will complement our speed in Foley, Lids, Whitey edwards and Tambling...a sensible move that hopefully assists in taking that next step in our quest for finals :thumbsup

Yeah it's the loss of the pick that concerns me....

Have a sinking feeling that we aint done at the trade table yet :-\

Right now your right i cant tell you what that pick is going to be, but what i can tell you is we stuffed up the draft  again.

How do i know?? because we do it every stuffin year. 2004/5/6/7 and 2008. we are a stuffin rabble.

We are a stuffin very stupid football club which is why the likes of Petts and Hyde will leave for Zero value.
Throw in JON and Meyer as well. All Rubbish. Everyone knows they were and are pathetic footballers but we hold them till their worth nothing.

We stuff the draft up every year, last year with your mate Jordy, graham, kingsley etc etc

no finals in 25 years why the stuff do you think that is???????????????????????

Because of our drafting and development thats why. Pathetic!!

not sure how you build an argument on our drafting performance in 1983, last years it was second to none..putting performance before any self serving misguided subjective judgement of Jordy Mc , it was an inspired choice :thumbsup
