Wake up dudes, then again some should stay asleep as once they see it's up they will be up for the rest of the night dissecting it.

Lucky I am on nights  :sleep

Playing Geelong and Hawthorn only once is good but the first half of next year isn't going to be a picnic. Not the start especially in the first 6 weeks Terry would've been hoping for as far as the draw goes.

Just 4 games too in the first 14 rounds at the 'G  ??? although the run home with 7 straight MCG games is good.

Once again we only get 2 home games in the first 6 rounds at a time when you're chasing members. Thanks again Andy D and AA  ::).

LOL needing to wait to rounds 20 and 21 to play Collingwood and Hawthorn and it's a farce that we once again play a home game at the Dome against a Dome tenant  :banghead. Another home game lost  ::).

Hmmm not so bad, the early part of the draw will be tough though.

Good news though I get to see the tiges in Sydney again, May 3 happy about that.

It seems we only have one of those woeful Sunday "twilight" games

Thanks Gawd!

Another 2 trips to Perth  :banghead :banghead

But then again ...we like playing in Perth  ;D

3 interstate trips in May = 3 in five weeks is a bit rough  :o

Percentage WP Percentage  ;D.

After looking at our draw once again we really will need to beat our bogey sides like North and the Swans if we want to replace them in the finals next year. Get to round 6 at least 3-3 and we should be okay.

Ok gone through it and with typical pre season optimism I think we are going to win 14 games with 8 losses and therefore we are going to make the finals.

Here's the official fixture on the AFL site including times

http://www.afl.com.au/Fixture/tabid/10586/default.aspx

The round 1 Carlton game is on at 7.40pm. Not 6pm like this year.

Sydney, Port and the second Melbourne games are early starts (1.10pm EST)

Carrara game starts at 7.10pm on the Saturday night.

The twilight game vs St Kilda starts at 4.40pm

The rest are the usual times.

Richmond

THE TIGERS look to have kicked a goal, scoring some blockbuster matches and faring reasonably when looking at who they play how many times in 2009.

While the past counts for little heading into a new season, Richmond only faces three finalists twice – those three clubs being the Western Bulldogs, North Melbourne and the Sydney Swans.

The Tigers again kick off the new season against Carlton at the MCG – that match being one of four high-profile encounters on their calendar.

Richmond will also host Essendon in the annual Dreamtime at the 'G game (round nine), as well as Collingwood (20) and Hawthorn (21).

All four matches will help the Tigers' bottom line, while those two late-season clashes are the only times Terry Wallace's men have to face both the Magpies and Hawks during the home and away season.

Richmond plays 11 games at the MCG, with seven straight between rounds 15 and 21, which could encourage a run close to the finals.

There are also five games at Etihad Stadium, formerly Telstra Dome, and five interstate.

One of those road trips is a 'home' match at Gold Coast Stadium, hosting Adelaide in round 14.

An early-season highlight is an Easter Monday clash with the Bulldogs, however, the majority of the club's clashes are on Saturday.

Ten games are on Saturday and eight on Sunday, while the Tigers will feature in Friday night football twice – including the final round of the year when they must travel to Subiaco to take on the West Coast Eagles.

There's 5 theme rounds including a "Green round" (Environment) in round 20 (vs Collingwood)

NAB Cup fixture comes out in a week.

Explanation why we travel interstate in round 22:

Round 22 travelling Victorian teams (Richmond to Perth and North Melbourne to Adelaide) are those with the greatest number of years since they travelled for a Round 22 fixture

Really think R1 is critical to Plough's fate.

If we lost we could be going very ordinary by the time we play Brisbane.
