4 most important Tigers for 2009?

Who do you think are our 4 most important players for us to achieve our goal of playing finals this year?

1.Lids
2.Richo
3.Axel
4.Thirsty

Obviously we need more than these four to have a good season but as a rule if these guys are in top form then we are in with a good shot.

I know that isnt 4 guys per say but that is who i think wil make the difference this year.

Richo - heart and soul of the club. Will be that on field leader much in the same way as Crawford was at Hawthorn this year with the team willing him on for one last chance of ultimate success.

Lids-  Silky skilled midfielder and dead eye dick for goal. If he takes his game to a new level he will be an A+ grade player.

Cuz- club has taken a gamble on him and in monetary terms it has paid off with extra revenue from memberships and merchandise. I don't think we can fathom the extent of hysteria he will create if he can bring his A game to the club. As well as the inrease to our play our midfield and our team's status in the competition. We'll be the envy of every other club. The euphoria and adulation will be equivalent to Royce KB Sheeds and co running around in the halcyon days of the early 70's.

Thursfield- Holding down a key position backman post able to play on the monsters like the Hall's Buddy's Brown's and being more than able to hold his own. He'll need help from Kel and Lukey but he has shown an excellent temperament and has acquitted himself well to the big jobs on the monster forwards.

In no particular order.

1. Jack, Cleve, Shultz. (Somebody needs to step up and take CHF).
2. Rance. (Would make a huge difference in quality to our back line at CFB).
3. White. (Consolidate and improve on last year and make our midfield truly dangerous).
4. Tambo. (Finally live up to the hype. Stick it up the naysayers. Take the class of the team up another notch).

I left Cuz out on purpose. Though he can/should be great, I don't think we should rely on him to provide sustained success.

I agree.

Richo is the King of melbourne. Our onfield talisman. The club champion. We need him firing and leading.

Brown. I LOVE watching Browny play. An AA forward any year he gets a run.

Deledio. Already an elite mid. Time to step up to superstar status. he can do it. An outdide punt for Charlie.

Cousins. IF he is fit focussed and if he fires he will electrify games. he is a superb player.

Agree that Simmo is crucial for the sides structure & performance, however can't see a 3rd defender as critical to results.

Its no coincidence that RFC performed better when there was a competitive inside midfielder (Tuck) getting first hands on the pill in the 2nd half of the season, so mine is;
