The Eagles threw that one away tonight. Got in front and were running all over the Swans then went tempo footy too far out and stuffed it up. If they wanted to tank they couldn't have done it any better.

Scott Selwood shows promise. Not in his brother Joel's league but did some nice things tonight. Didn't mind getting in and under at ball-ups and kicked a classy goal on the run to put the Eagles in front near the end. Poor Francis Jackson who wanted him badly at Punt Rd will be spewing again tonight that the powers that be traded pick 19 away two years ago  :scream.

Barry Hall scared the hell out of them all night when he was in range of the ball, would have to say that was a great game & one of his best l seen. l hate to be a defender on him when his upset  ;D
Bloke has some awesome power & l pity anyone when he retires getting in the ring with him cause he is going to explode
Big Cox got the shock of his life in the show of strength  ;D big Bazza held him off 1 arm & Cox was quite after that & Bazza still has that niggly groin
Was a great game overall & truely enjoyed the football, l kept saying all night kick it to Bazza  ;D the wife even watched it with me

Well at least the Pies got flogged again and Essendon lost  ;D.

Unless the Hawks get their premiership players back fit and firing it's hard to see anything other than Geelong vs St Kilda GF.

I see the Blues are getting done again and didn't kick a goal in the first half  :rollin

Good to see as well both North and Freo fans made it to the Dome today   :D

The Blues have had the blowtorch applied to them and it has been mentioned how important this game is to their season... 8 point game ... <insert cliche>...

They're playing the Eagles!! In Melbourne!! Their coach has publically said they're pretty much tanking the rest of this year!!

I'd like a crunch game against this sort of opposition.

Hope the Eagles smash them though!!  :rollin

Kruzer will be the premier ruckman in the competetion.

He is a absolute gun.

He was not ready but they just threw him into the line up and look at him go.

This while we keep Vickery wrapped up in cottom wool with Simmo  who wont be there post season playing. Go figure!!

Kreuzer is 10kgs heavier than Vickery don't forget. Vickery you'd expect to play this year (could be next week) but he needs to put on 10kgs before he can hold down a permanent ruck position. He'll more likely start up playing more as a tall forward like Ottens did.

Terrible error ridden game tonight from what I saw :P. The Blues are still a side with a handful of guns before it falls away quickly and their defence is still fragile although Austin looked good off half-back. They were fortunate tonight they were playing the Eagles who are tanking.

Mitch Clark - 21 possies, 9 marks, 29 hitouts and 6 tackles. To think he could have been a Tiger with pick 8, 2005 .... oh well  :(.

How about the doggies - 13 goals in a row in the first half :o

Dean Laidley might be sending Wallace an xmas card the way the roos are going.

I admire them for trying not to bottom out, but they don't seem to have much of a spine for the future.

Terry might have to return the favour on those txt message from Harvey. Both he and Laidley will cop it this week.

Good to Geelong spanking the Bombers by 10 goals to half-time :lol. "Cheating" by running forward of the contest doesn't work against the top sides ;).

Sheesh North have pushed the Saints for 3 quarters  :o although the Saints are now in front and on top. Laidley next senior coach to go you'd reckon.

Does everyone cringe as i do, every time Robert Walls speaks on Channel 10.

Every opportunity he gets he has to crap on about his alliance for the Blues. "His daughter bought a Blues jumper with No 5 on the back"
Half way through the 2nd........WHO GIVES A stuff.

Channel 10 are a joke they really are. Tim Lane and Robert Walls  :chuck :chuck

The Bombers bubble may have burst lol although they've got the Dees next week and a soft run home.

We all hate Carlton but credit where it's due to them and the Saints. Last night's game was one of the best for the year. Fast paced and massive pressure from both sides for 4 quarters. There'll be some very sore bodies when they wake up tomorrow morning as there was hardly an easy footy won. The skill level stood up well under the pressure too. The Saints just that bit better and classier to get over the line. You realise how far off we really are watching games like this one.

Geez North are having a shocker of a year as well. You can't see Laidley being surviving past this season. Losing Ziebell to a broken leg just tops of it off. Hope the poor kid has a speedy recovery.

The Hawkers might keep going the record of a top 4 side crashing out of the top 8 the following year. They were insipid today. I bet Clarkson now regrets saying Buddy is ready to turn it on lol.
