Bloody Carlton won  :banghead

Sheesh the Pussies gave Brisbane a flogging. Makes our effort down there look even better. Another lazy 42 possessions to Ablett also. The guy is an absolute freak!

Had an absolutely shocking week with my footy tips

But I dont' really care

Tigers won and the Pies choked

Actually full credit to the Bombers they were GAWN but they didn't give up and that was an amazing win

And I think we saw the coming of age of a young player yesterday in that game

Well done Paddy Ryder....  :clapping

Strueth, just read he had 13 tackles  :o

Some of our players would be stretching it to get 13 tackles in a season.

Yep a great effort. We missed out on being able to get him by just one pick.

It also says a lot about Fraser and the Collingwood rucks failing again when it matters.

The Pies have pumped North. Laidley should be the coach now under the pump from the media  :yep.

Give credit where it's due. What a great game today between the Hawks and Blues. Close game that swung both ways all day, high pressure tough footy, and two key forwards at each end having days out with Roughy and Fev kicking 8 each. Blues losing made it sweeter lol.

absolutely MT. I wasn't going to miss out on seeing footy this weekend so i went last night which was a joke of a game and today went to the Blues/Hawks.

What a game. I thought from a neutral point of view it was great to see the game played the way it was. Both teams fought hard and so many times i said to my friends, yep the hawks will run away with it now.

Fev takes the mark and the crew i was with start jumping up and down and then handed me their keys and sunglasses ready for the absolute pandemonium when Fev nails the goal.

hahahahahahahahaahaha SORRY BOYS IT NEVER CAME.....GOLD!!!

Bombers got done too. It's been a good day  :lol.

The Lions kept using the same tactic of getting it quickly out wide outside the corridor before going inside 50 and Essendon fell for it everytime. Hopefully our coaching staff were watching carefully for next week. Brisbane has been a Jeckyl and Hyde team this year. Good at home and hopeless away. Let's hope that continues  :pray.

The Saints are looking the real deal this year. Another easy win this time over the Dogs which should've really been another 10+ goal flogging if crybaby Riewoldt could kick straight. Dal Santo could end up favourite for the Brownlow if Ablett misses a few games with that groin injury he suffered today.

Geez Bummers look like they might roll the Hawks.

I have got to admire the way Knights has their team playing, IMO opinion they lack the cattle but they give it a red hot go.

I know it won't happen but if we do get another coach I wouldn't mind Knights.

There are a few on this forum who talk about the RFC young players
have a good look at the Bombers tonight.- talk about developing players :thumbsup
Much younger than us.
Have pace to burn
Take the game on at all costs.
And are coached by a "'champ"" who knows what footy is about.
Knighta has installed a great deal of belief at Windy Hill. Something that Terry Wallet has sadly FAILED at.
The Bombers have beaten Collingwood, Carlton and Hawthorn this year, If we beat one of those teams in any year, most on here cum on themselves, LOL ;)

what i find interesting is the fact how they cover their players.
Out goes Fletcher and Hille in goes Ryder and Hooker.

gee they look good and sadly are streets ahead of us in terms of development but some on here will stay argue the Bombers are no good and we are developing nicely.

Daniel, everyone canned me about this last year.
They are miles ahead of us.
Essendon bottomed out for 6 months and are heading back up.
we bottom out for 5 years and are still heading NO WHERE. :banghead
As for the young players, they had 14 players under 25 games last night.
Where is Mightytiges with  his stats about the Tiger young players????? ::)
Problem is that our young players  arent much good besides one or two
Good on Essendon and good on Knighta I say. :thumbsup

its a compelling argument that just maybe Campbell wont be such a bad choice for our club as some think.

Look at Knighter same type of success as Campbell when they played, and he is doing wonders.
I cant help but listen to him when he speaks and admire the way he goes about his stuff.

Never heard him once say he inherited a bad list unlike some  :shh
