many double standards amongst members on this site re players
I fail to see how you can't tell the difference between a player who came 3rd in the Brownlow last year and a player who's been a liability in the side for 2 years and was awarded Worst on Ground by MMM in one of our worst games of the past 5 years.

MMM............. :lol
i rest my case

double standards, as per usual joel is the whipping boy

Actually we have a whole host of whipping boys; Petts, McMahon, JON, Schulz, Tambo, Jackson, Sugar

I wouldn't say Joel's been the only whipping boy this week

It's been shared around  ;D

I'd say he's got off lightly to be honest, his name hasn't popped up nearly as much as others

What I like least about Bowden's comments is him only talking about trying to be competitive this week, not trying to win

Agree Infamy its almost as if we are happy to stay as close to Geelong as possible before we inevitably lose, that way regardless of the margin we can at least have a couple of quarters to work with.
Just not good enough. Four quarter effort and the four points will only suffice Joel.
Poor role model and not the right/most positive thing to say.

cant believe a comment like that.

just goes to show that we have no hope of winning on Saturday, absolutely none so how the fu.. do some of you expect us supporters to stay positive when we hear crap like that.

I dont think that any player should be talking to the media untill the season is back on track.

I wouldn't mind a guersey....if I had talent that is.  :shh

Where is Bowden playing anyway? Was it forward or on the wing or where exactly? He has turned into a fix-it man who unfortunately hasn't fixed much of late.  :P

I've been out of the game a few years, but sure I will give it a go, is there a jumper available for someone on the road to Dewism.

Recovering from an injury and very underdone in terms of fitness at the moment. Has struggled recently to get through a preseason to build a season on. Shame - has a lot of talent just needs to become more team orientated IMO.

Could hardly have done much worse.
