the club management need to find out if the coach has lost his players- if so they should sack Wallace on Monday and pay him out. We dont need this rubbish going on for weeks.
even though i am ,against sacking coaches mid year, if it is true that its only richo brown and sugar that support wallace the the rest have lost him, i agree with you ramps, its pointless wasting time like we did with danny . we should have sacked danny after that game at the dome where adelaide thumped us. something tell me the fact he was spat on that night saved his butt for that year
I hate reading a "friend of a friend told me posts", especially when it involves Terry Wallace so i apoligise in advance...... A friend of mine had a brother who played for Richmond and remains great mates with Dean Polo. He told me that the young guys feel as though they dont have the support of TW and that he lets certain players know that he does not rate them. The young guys play knowing that at any moment they could lose their place in the team as TW doesnt rate them and they play under added internal pressure to perform. In short TW has his favorites.I am almost ashamed to post this as i am always cynical of these rumours. If true it raises a lot questions like, why did he draft them in the first place?
i guess 'who' was your friends brother?
i too, went to tafe with a guy that knew Dean Polo (and Jarrad Roughead - Gippsland boys), who said a similar thing about 'Terry having favourites'.
very disappointing if that is true, Terry having favourites.
rumours spread or get started.
does a 'Michael Egan' a former Footscray player ring a bell with anyone here?
Mr Egan was infact my high school teacher for many years and has told me a thing a two about Terry.
however, if the 'word' is true or not, we can only tell, through these 'signs/things' i believe tell a lot about a Football club;
1) if the heads are up,
2) the talking,
3) the one-percenters during matches,
4) the high-fives, pats on the back,
5) sharing of the Football,
6) overall, team bonding.
at the moment, i've probably only seen Richmond once 'play with heart' since the start of 2008,
and that was 'that match' aganist Brisbane.
i can only see three possible after-match feelings ...
1st - Loss; all over, Terry will be asked to leave.
2nd - Win under 4 goals, almost like a loss because it was Melbourne.
3rd - Win over 4 goals, it was Melbourne.
no, 'wow' good win by the boys, 'played hard football at the ball and the man' ... hopefully i'm very wrong!
