What did we all think of JON's first game back in a while?

Not too bad at all, quiet serviceable.  A few bad disposals in there but sounds like he he will never lose that aspect.

Still has a long long way to go though to "make it" in our side.

certainly enough to be given another game, took a nice contested mark and made space well at times, we are crying out for forwards...though he could have had a couple of shots himself however unselfishly passed off...He was alright

Jon needs to be given an extended period in the seniors to show what he can do. He enjoyed tonights game as he contributed, i think the penny has dropped!

Just doesn't move like a footballer. Pleased he's earned a promotion, but not any more convinced he's going to make it.

Granted, he does look awkward!

He looked alright to me. Robin Nahas looked at sea in his first game but is gradually building his profile.
Seriously, some supporters only want to be right.

A little excited - he could just make it! He made a couple of time error mistakes but I loved the contested marking and passing in the forward line. Still needs to work on quicker decision making but JON you answere our prayers that you would step up tonight. Keep taking that next step - we are very proud of you.

Some important interventions which was nice. Certainly I think he is confident which is nice given he's been out of the picture for a while.

Such a lazy kick though. I thought at times he leant back and just popped the ball in the air in a Coughlan-esque manner.

Unfortunantely won't make it.
Maybe the players don't trust him at this level. Ran to space a couple of times and players neglected to give it to him.
I thought he did okay without being spectacular. Needs to do more to gain the trust of his teammates at this level. Nevertheless a good start and play him again next week.

Basically agree.
Kicked into the man TWICE.
Dropped 2 easy marks
And when inside F 50 on 3 seperate occassions, could of kicked goals but gave off to a player same distance out :banghead
Had his chance to have an impact on the game but didnt want to.
Credit where its due, he did present himself as a hit up target although was ignored on many occassions. When he did gain possesion, didnt have the confidence to have shot, as he probably realises he is a poor kick.
Agree with Tuckerbag, probably aint going to make it as he is a poor kick

Believe it or not i actually was hoping he would do something special and kick a few goals.

For a minute i was feeling sorry for him but its not his fault, unfortunately he aint got what it takes to play AFL, simple as that.

Those kick in the man on the marks will he ever learn.

If it was anyone else those passes off would be labelled unselfish.   :sleep

And there was at least 3 of them that directly resulted in scores, mostly goals.
