I could respect campbell more if he goes down the ratten road and orchestrates honorable losses between the time he begins and the end of the season.

4 things
* Tony Free is a voice amongst 10 people, he isnt running the club.
* Wallace would of been gone 2 weeks ago ,but there is an issue with his contract, and Richmond hasnt got the $$$$$$$$$ to pay him out ( as it paid for the Ben Holland fiasco ;), although there will be a comprimise soon ( within a fortnight)
* Wayne Campbell will be caretaker coach. Wayne is a great person and his ideas on footy are similiar to Mattys  At least you we will all be able to go the footy in a few weeks and enjoy a quicker style, direct game.
* and if anyone thinks Terry cares about the RFC , is are all on DRUG, Terry cares for Terry $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I might tell you one day ;)

totally agree jack and what poos me the most are  all these know it alls that do not understand that wayne campbell is the man 4 the job, he absolutely loves this club, dont worry about  that bs time when he wanted to leave, that was all mal browns fault, who does not love richmond.  what is teh bonus , is that wayne campbell not only has teh passion and love 4 rfc, he is super intelligent.

good luck wayne , i hope you start coaching us next week!

Yeah he loves the club so much he is out there shamelessly promoting himself at a time the club is a laughing stock and a punching bag for every footy journo.

Just like he did when he played footy

This charade will over be soon and IMO campo will be our next coach.
We should learn a lot from ratts when he took over as Caretaker. Honourable losses in that year till he was announced coach at the end of the year.

LMAO at some people who dont like Campo and to think these were the same people just last year who were gunning for TW to sign on again after our finish to the end of the season.

How do you know that not signing him on again isnt what caused this season to fall apart. You dont

How do you know Campo will be the next coach. You dont.

You dont know FA about anything. Except embarrassing yourself

You have to remember that Richmond had its best years when it was ruled by a dictator named Graeme Richmond. We are talking about a dictator in the communist manner, or what was supposed to be the communist manner.

GR's exit followed the departure from the club of three key members of the 1980 premiership team — centre-half forward David Cloke, centreman Geoff Raines and defender Bryan Wood. The Tigers never recovered. The club which had been ruled with an iron fist became a club of fierce and indiscriminate internal disputes.
The club didn't move with the times. What worked in the 60s/70s no longer did as the game moved towards semi-professionalism and players being paid more in the 80s. Players wanted more than a couple of shirts to be happy to stay at a club. Now days there's too much involved for one man to run a footy club. As we've learnt the hard way there's too much even for just one man to be the recruiter. You need the whole organisation to have money, be fully resourced, and to function as a unit with everyone pulling in the same direction over the long-term with stability, purpose and belief. This requires leadership, direction and purpose at Board level and for the Board to employ the best and right people for the club in all areas.

Quote
As president, it's pretty much the same. If the person at the centre of an organisation is seen to be acting for the right reason, that example spreads like ripples from a rock dropped into a pond. It's all about the power that comes from within.
5/10  :whistle

Ben Gale coming back as club president would give Richmond a real chance of finding the sort of motivation and focus it needs. So, I believe, would Wayne Campbell as coach.
Lots of romanticism there with the 'Richmond people' but where's the substance?  Benny has said no in the past. Balme's said no to leaving Geelong. Cambo is very inexperienced compared to other younger coaches who have go senior gigs. Clarkson, Lyon, Ratten and Knights coached their own clubs/teams at lower levels as well as being assistant coaches at AFL clubs.

Wayne Campbell can only get the job through nepotism and shameless self promotion. Knights did the hard yards learning how to coach.

You'll be in hiding again when he loses a couple of games. Just like you were the 2nd half od last season.

To take us forward NO ONE currently involved with the coaching at Richmond should get the job. We need a colmplete new coaching stucture, I for one can see Longmire or Hardwick being considered strongly and Wiliams or Buckley if they are available.
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.
