However, now we must consider our trading postion. Zantuck being traded would have cleared a $240,000 expense from our list and enabled us to take our full compliment in the draft (possibly all 7 picks up to 52). I see everyone complaining about Hilton being on our list, but from a financial point of view, he is beneficial to the Tigers, as he would only be retained on a one year deal on minimum wage, if he is retained at all now. As it is, with 31 on the list, we can take 6 picks in the draft, and one in the PSD...is this enough?

He wont be getting many kicks on crutches in the stands though Gibbro.
Dont forget his knee injury, probably rendering an already slow, immobile player totally useless.
Punt him off to utilize pick 36 like Ron Jeremy suggested.
Drink,Drugs and Shagging models.
The rest l just wasted.

MUST, MUST take our draft picks, all 7.

Punt Hilton + one of Morrison, Weller, Chaffey, my last off would be Fleming because at least he has a go.

If we are going to sacrifice a pick.....then bye bye Fleming.....

Imagine if you were a kid and you didnt get picked up because Fleming took your spot on a list......you would quit football then and there.

Your only two options on that list are Hilton & Weller - uncontracted. Though I reckon Weller is a chance to get another deal because of his form in the last 5 games of 2004, even more so if we are interested in his little brother  ;) ;D

Did we actually sign Morrison to a two year deal last year? Why?

If GM had given me a ring I would have told him he was no J. Brown.

If he was he wouldn't have been running around in the AFLQ. Or for that matter Coburg.

Weller and Hilton to go then.

I believe he nominated a 2 year contract in coming down from Brissy.
