THE impending arrival of a baby could have helped prompt Wayne Campbell to pull out of the running for the Richmond coaching job.
Campbell and his wife Sarah are expecting their second child in about four weeks.
With two young children, Campbell, 36, might have felt he couldn't devote his full attention to coaching.
In announcing his withdrawal on Tuesday, Campbell said he was not quite ready to take on the senior coaching role.
"I reckon I'm about 80 per cent, and that's nowhere near enough,'' he said. "It's just such a full-on job.''
