How about we pay his ENTIRE salary for next year in return for their 1st round pick plus our 3rd rounder.
Given the talent is gone after Pick 10, they won't need it that much anyway

Yep sounds good to me  ;D. A trade off. The more we pay in salary the higher the pick we get in return. We (Rich) give you (St K) a ready-made player you want at no monetary cost to the Saints in exchange for pick 17. Somehow I think the Saints will want to keep their first pick and possibly offload their 2nd rounder (pick 33) but who knows when no one thought any club would be silly enough to be interested at all in Jordie  :rollin. I wouldn't say no to either. The more picks and the less duds the better  :thumbsup.

To be honest, I'd take a swap of our 2nd & 3rd rounders for their 1st & 2nd rounder
It would effectively take him off our hands and bring each of our picks forward by (most likely) only 2 places.

We will have so much room in TPP that we could probably carry paying McMahons wage. Paying Half - I would ask for Saints 2nd rounder, paying his full salary approx: $300 Id be asking for there 1st Rounder - pick 17 ... although in the end, I cant see it happening.

That's probably the more realistic scenario but I wouldn't want to be paying too much of his salary if that's the case.

they wont get a trade for him  ;D they know his not AFL standard  :lol they already learnt that taking Fiona Fiora  :rollin
our great recruiting has stuck us with this dud. McMuffin knew he was getting a red apple when they give him 3 year contract.
What club other than Richmond give new drafts long contracts who have played VFL most of the year, discarded by another AFL club.

ONLY RICHMOND  :rollin

This is exciting news! If it eventuates, regardless of the pick we receive, I believe we will have at least obtained something from a player that we will more than likely move on at the end of next season regardless. A pick swap and half his wage would be a good deal - say our 3rd for their first plus $150 grand of his salary - particularly given our salary cap room next year.

Great news but I will not hold my breath until I see if it transpires in October.
