i must be stupid as i knew he would not make the grade as a leader and captain

he is not accountable and never has been, shows no respect for his opponent
he does not galvanise the group and never has
he does not inspire and never has
when he walks he does not command or demand respect
he is fevolas best friend

i rest my case

As a massive Newman fan, I agree. The list is more important. If we can get  pick between 15-20 I'd take it.

20-30 - Think about it

anything over 30 I'd keep Chris.

One thing that has bothered me for some time now is why so many of our draft picks play for coburg reserves for great lengths of time. These guys are the elite for the age group and yet they are sent to play with barely suburban footballers at coburg reserves, surely their chance of developing at that level is zero

Um perhaps they're boys with developing bodies?
Just how many of our draft picks are playing for Coburg reserves for 'great lengths of time' anyway? Alroy is in the seniors, Putt's had a few games at senior level. Browne spoke in our room yesterday and believe me he's still a boy - and as a ruckman I'm happy to see him learn his craft under the guidance of coaches.
You're also putting down players who play in that comp.
In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

Putt who???? Is he that 200cm, 90 odd kg kid who has been on our list for two years???
If a kid isn't good enough to get a game at Coburg when drafted then DON'T draft them. If other part time footballers are getting a game before him then maybe alarm bells should go off!!! Put them on a rookie list at best.
