I think its going to be a long year if they can't even organise a simple bloody member pack to include the most important part. What is really funny is that I received the membership card lanyard but now I have nothing to put into it.

I don't know much about Essendon and there salary cap space but would this hamper there chances of out bidding us on any free agents in the coming years.

Cloke didn't sound to convincing for mine on the footy show last night talking about post career setting up his life. A few million towards that couldn't hurt him.

Makes it harder for the Bombers to keep Ryder. Signing up both to big $$$ would really put their salary cap under pressure in the upcoming years.

Skoda Stadium (Sydney Showgrounds main arena) is almost ready for AFL footy. We'll be playing up there in a month's time.

Here's some shots from today. A lot of muppets currently running around and putting the ground through its paces. Last thing they want is another Etihad or ANZ turf debacle.
I'll be going to the GWS v Bombers game on Sat night so for those coming up for the Tigers game, I'll let you all know what the ground is like for viewing, weather protection and facilities like food, parking etc....
As I said to gerks, I think the the biggest screen in the southern hemisphere will be pushed to its limits with catering for the Bombers score on Saturday night.
