Collingwood have given Brad Scott the flick straight away. They've released him from his assistant coach contract.

Too much IP nowadays to keep someone on that you know will be in opposition within a few weeks - planning for 2010 draft strategies, game plans, trades/delistings etc will all be well down the path in each club and they will protect their IP much more vigorously than honouring the final weeks of an employee contract.
