Losing Martin will hurt us massively.

We'll wait and see, I don't think it will get up regardless of money.

I visit a friend who lives in Blacktown the suburb where the GWS ground is within walking distance. Their is more chance of GWS folding within 10 years than Richmond winning the spoon this year. The place is a horrible horrible place and filled with immagrants who in no way shape or form will support any sporting club let alone an unknown sporting code.

The move is a horrible one by the AFL. Sheeds knows this and HAS to do anything and everything he possibly can to give GWS a chance.

I'd put my bottom dollar on GWS not getting up without an enormous and record amount of help from the AFL year in year out for a long time.

how about tryin to build a club and a culture so you can save your self from a failing club GWS before poaching contracted players by offering huge amounts of cash.

GWS should be postponed for a further 2 years. They dont have any chance in hell of being a success. 2014 should be when they come in.

I have no inside knowledge about if Martin would go or not but I would hope not.

The main thing is we are going have to sign up a 18 year old to a contract that will be way over the odds and much earlier than we normally would do. I am not saying Martin wont be a star or wont deserve the contract, just that the whole thing stinks in that we are forced into such contracts by the new teams and the Player managers knowing that existing Clubs have no choice.

I find the whole signing of a player from each team concept a horrible idea.

Can honestly say I don't hate the man.

But I certainly have absolutely no respect for him now and not just over this issue.

The complete disrespect he now shows the RFC (since August of last year) because he didn't get his way is disgraceful.

agreed i think they would have better chance of hitting the ground running if they waited. i dont kno why afl have a fear of having a bye for each team.
