Folks are aware the Eagles win they'd go ahead of us on the ladder (same number of wins, superior % )

All double edged swords WP.

If we go back I'm sure after losing to the Dogs we said that loss may cost us at the end of the year and by the time we lost to Melbourne our season was cooked.

That's why whilst hoping for a reprieve and us sneaking in I can't help but feel,a little agitated and frustrated over the first half of the year and with a little more care and alot more responsibility and honesty to themselves first and foremost we may not have been scrambling like cockroaches after fumigating a property in the run of our lives to a possible 8the spot. It's both galling and surreal. :-\

looking at pies draw they'll win 2 more putting them on 48 pts so that's one spot out of our reach.. probably would've been better if they beat the eagles today and eliminated them out of the equation tbh..

Adelaide got us, nth and stk, if us and north beat them they'll end up on 44pts with big percentage

We've got adel, stk and syd - must win all 3 end of story to end up on 48 - more likely 44 with inferior percentage unless we smash adel and stk

Bombres have wce, GC and carl would expect them to win at least 2 of those - 48pts

WCE have wce, melb and GC will win 2 at least 44pts

best hope is wce do a number on ess next week and lose to GC in final round and finish on 44, bombres win 1 of last 3 and finish on 44, Adelaide likewise and we win all 3. Fat stuffing chance  :lol

if we win next week then we will have our percentage boost opportunity against St Kilda. St K are rooted and If we turn up to play a 15 goal win could be on the cards.

there is about a +144pts differential between us and crows percentage. Going to need to spank them next week by 30-40 points to give us a chance to reel them in even with a 15 goal flogging of the saints..

Doesn't matter when we win our next three games by 15+ goals

TBH  I think we will have to win all our games to finish 8th and that also means beating the Swans. Tough ask but at least we will have a chance in the last round. We threw games away against Bulldogs and Melbourne and thats gonna kill us if we dont make finals.

Next week Essendon play West Coast
Richmond v Adelaide.
Gold Coast v Port
Collingwood v Brisbane

We win and Port and West Coast win and it all goes on for another week with

Adelaide
WestCoast
Richmond
Essendon
Gold Coast  all on 40 points with two games to play.

Collingwood play Hawthorn on Friday night footy last round. We may just need to win to make the eight. Albeit I think West Coast will make it given they play Melbourne and some other minnow in the last two especially if they beat Essendon next week.

Yeah but it stops Collingwood going 2 games clear of us.

The way Geelong play Blicavs is the way we should play Vickery.

Vickery wouldn't have the athletic endurance of a Blicavs who could out-run any other AFL footballer round the Tan.

On last night's game - as much as Geelong losing would've been good for the Swans to seal up a top 2 spot and hopefully take our round 23 clash not so importantly, it's still great to see the Blues lose by just a kick after being in front with 3 mins to go ;D.

Power in front at 3/4 time.

Sydney looking ridiculously good.

In fairness they don't really have any opposition
