“He’s an incredible talent on the field. The one thing we always talk about is the ability of players to win the ball and that’s what Sydney can do," coach Damien Hardwick said.
"More importantly, when he wins the ball he uses it incredibly well.
"If you had of said to me at the start of the year we’d draft this kid as the last pick in the draft and he’d play every single game and be a Rising Star candidate, I’d look at you as if you were crazy. But he’s been nothing short of outstanding."
Hardwick sounded a warning to Richmond's rivals that Stack would only get better.
"If he continues to work hard and continues to decide this is what he wants to do and this is who he wants to be, the world’s his oyster," he said.
"The ball’s entirely in his own court. He can be as good as he wants to be."
