Here's a tip for Sri Lanka

If you are going to dish up a pitch that is desgined to favour spin bowling make sure your batsmen can play spin bowling, even part timers like Head.

The Head delivery that got Chandimal almost spun at right angles

That test loss overnight and especially that second innings collapse was embarrassing. 10 wickets all lost to spin  :help. You should not lose a test match in 4 days when you have two blokes make centuries in your first innings.

Great follow up by Steve after his petulant display in the 1st test after his run out

And to think wanted him back as Captain

1st innings collapse wasn't much better

Yet again Lyon can not bowl sides out in spin friendly conditions  :banghead

"Cricket Australia has paved the way for David Warner's lifetime leadership ban to be lifted after requesting an amendment to their integrity code."

When did the Australian cricket team become the Essendon football club?

Good call. Warner shouldn't even be playing for Australia, let alone captaining us. Nasty, cheating little fellow.

Neither should Smith then; he cheated too.

And as Captain at the time his "crime" was much worse

Laws of cricket are very clear; to paraphrase the buck stops with the Captain. What happened in Sth Africa happened on his watch and accordingly his punishment should have been the most severe but wasn't. IMHO and I said this at the time he got off very, very lightly.

I don't necessarily disagree with that. All I would say is that there is something malevolent about Warner. He did the scheming; the other acquiesced. I felt at the time there was a way back for Smith, but not for Warner. It was a mistake to let Smith captain again.

Smith is okay but Warner is not? I think Smith should never play cricket again, just like I don’t think Hird should ever coach again :shh

I see Cummins asked CA to can an energy retailer from being a sponsor. Good on him, but how does he get around? Plane, cars no he must walk everywhere.

They make me laugh these left wing flogs. At least Greta practices what she preaches (I think)
