Head was treating it like a one-dayer seeing the ball like a beachball. Amazing innings. Smith playing the disciplined second banana at the other end. Deserves a century too.

Green top pitch and overcast conditions. Looks like a bowl first wicket.
Glad the Indians took my advice :whistle :lol. Once the sun came out, the pitch didn't do much. The Indian bowling was pretty inconsistent as well. Odd for India by the way to not have one of the best bowlers in Ashwin in their team.

5/151 at stumps.

Every bowler with a wicket.

Our's to lose barring any silly collapses.

Only 1 wicket so far today

India 6/235

Some pretty average bowling by Starc and Green

And a couple of dropped catches for good measure  :facepalm

Schoolboy own goals from the Aussies. 3 dropped catches as well as no balls costing a further two wickets :facepalm.

Yep. Just stupid. Cummins, Carey and Smith let their own frustrations and desperation get the better of them. Warner at first slip didn't think the ball was nicked yet Cummins still chose to review it.

Green dropped a sitter earlier but catches the freakishly hard one going behind him  :o

Aussies 1/23 at Tea Day 3.

Warner  1
Khawaja 13*
Labuschagne 8*

A lead of 196 runs.

New ball moving about and there's uneven bounce. Labuschagne whacked hard on the glove twice that he dropped his bat.

Overall a very poor day by the Aussies

Bowling except for the first 30 odd minutes was poor. Leaked runs

And our 2nd innings batting was basically a rinse and repeat of the last few years

I appreciate we are nearly 300 hundred ahead but I reckon we need at least another 150 runs to be truly safe.
