Aust finally get a wicket

This short pitch bowling tactic until that point had not worked at all

Actually meant we were leaking runs  :banghead

Not really in the spirit of the game but when you've cheated out of a dismissal the day before, don't expect any favours from the opposition when you switch off and walk out of your crease before the call of over.

Carey threw it almost immediately. Not like he waited until bairstow walked out his crease.

Correct

Bairstow is a known wanderer,  got what he deserved

And I've no doubt if the roles were reversed the crowd would be jumping for joy

Dumb bowling by Green. Bowling short every single ball becomes predictable. Need to bowl at least one up to keep the batsman guessing.

Carey threw it almost immediately. Not like he waited until bairstow walked out his crease.
Bairstow tapped the crease before strolling out. He switched off and forgot to wait for the umps to call of over. Granted very clever by Carey to throw it immediately on instinct.

Personally, I don't usually like it. Not in the spirit of the game to see batsmen given out like that. But England have brought it on themselves that us Aussies have no sympathy. They want to play/cheat using harsh technical rulings then the whinging Poms can get a taste of their own medicine.

Pathetic captaincy by Cummins bowling Green

Stokes is eating this tripe bowling up

2019 revisited

Talk about working towards losing the unloseable

The last 20 minutes has been on par with Richmond on Thursday in Brisbane.

Eng 6/243 at Lunch.

England needs 128 runs. Aussies of course need 4 more wickets.

Lol
What a load of rubbish
Interesting when Nathan Lyon comes out in support of it being the correct decision

As for the Bairstow dismissal .. ranks with mankads in spirit of the game discussions .. but stiff poo Johnny, off you go .. but to think Starc’s catch decision played any role is laughable

And Glenn McGrath called the not out decision a "disgrace".

Just like the AFL, former players can be openly honest and critical unlike current players who have to toe the line.

Ponting is right. Dumb bowling giving Stokes balls in the slot he wants to hoick over the leg side boundary.

Smithy  :banghead
Fairly straightforward chance too. Would've totally altered the game back the Aussies way :scream.

250 WP is what I paid. Worth every cent

This is nuts now. I got here an hour ago trying to find way in in, but unfortunately it's not VFL park and no blue coats on site to dodge. It's a fortress.

People are trying everything to get in.

What are we doing here? Just pushing everyone to the boundary and balling short hoping that stokes skies one and then allowing him an easy single on the 4th or 5th bowl of the over. Ponting is rightly ripping into them on commentary.

Yep
And plenty have rightly called out Glenn McGrath for being wrong and needing to learn the rules of the game
